How do i stand with injury at wedding shop?
Ive just been to a wedding shop with the bride to be and bridesmaids looking for shoes. One of the women that worked in the shop knocked a mirror over and it landed on my foot and knocked my chin. She stupidly said ‘Oh that done that last week’ asked if i was ok she saw my leg and as i hate being centre of attention and felt embarrassed i said i was ok and to be honest it didn’t really hurt at the time. But since ive been home i have got a massive bruise on foot which hurts so much i cant even wear my slippers let alone shoes and the graze on my chin has come up like an egg and can see the bruise coming out. Would it really be worth a letter to the head office of this company or not really. Trouble is ive got to work as from tomorrow and cant go to work with no shoes on and im self employed so no work no wages.
i dont think you should bother reporting im sure it was an accident. But i think you should go see a doctor so you can have an excuse not to go into work.
