How to incorporate Leopard prints into a wedding..?

My fiance and I are getting married July 2010. My colors are most likely going to be black, red and some sort of gold. My thing is this, I really want to incorporate leopard print into my wedding – it’s my “pattern” of choice. Look into my drawers and closet and you’ll find it running plenty. I’ve decided that around the bridesmaids bouquets i’ll have either gold, red or black ribbon while around mine, i’m going to have a leopard print ribbon with a thicker red ribbon underneath it. The shoes for the bridesmaids are going to be a softer leopard print, while the men shall wear black. My problem though, is how to incorporate it into the reception in a classy and tasteful way. My cake will be a traditional white with what I like to call a “ribbon” of a leopard print going from the top layer to the bottom in a “stream” like fashion. But where else could I put it and make it look good and not ew? I would REALLY love more input or ideas as well if you have any! Thankyou! (:

I have to disagree with all these answers. I love leopard print. But I find it much more modernized when it is done in black and white rather than true animal print with yellow/orange and black. I would have a black and white wedding with splashes of another color – such as red, green, or a vibrant blue. I would use the leopard as accents in subtle things such as ribbons, napkins or plate chargers, and maybe somewhere on vases for flowers or something. I would play it down though and just use it as an accent.
