Fairy Tale Royal Princess Wedding

Is the wedding of your dream a “Princess Wedding”?  Yes!, then royal opulence is the key to a princess wedding theme for your very special wedding day.

Starts with the selection of a location that set up the right atmosphere suited for you and Prince Charming.   Obviously, a historic castle with acres of lush and manicured grounds laden with beautiful trees and flowers that changes colors with the season would be the perfect site.  However, the next best thing is a grand ballroom with a beautiful golden staircase, high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and a red carpet for you to make your grand entrance.

Wedding photography with  a historic castle in the background will be absolute stunning.  Start searching for this perfect location early in the wedding planning process.  It will be worth the effort.

The wedding flowers for the bridesmaid, centrepiece for the church, reception tables and throughout the reception area will be beautifully arranged to match the Princess Theme of your wedding.

Adding tall candelabras laden with tear shape crystals to each table including the bridal table would add to the royal opulence.  Dress up the bridal table also with a silk runner  to add that extra elegance.  The reception chairs dress up with white chair slipcovers tied with pink or ivory silk ribbons will also be ideal.

Needless to say, your wedding gown and bridal accessories should be elegant, opulent and fit for royalty.   A traditional white wedding gown with a fitted laced bodice and full skirt with a cathedral train and matching elbow length white gloves. will be the perfect choice for a princess bride.   You will be accessorized with beautiful pearl or diamond.  Your bridal hairstyle can  either be a elegant updo or long flowing.  A stunning tiara with an attached trailing veil adds to the royal feeling. The wedding shoes with high heels white satin closed toes or peep toes pump laden with crystal or diamonte will be very fitting for a princess bride.  If you really want to feel like Cinderella, a pair of clear pump shoes to symbolize glass slippers will be suitable.

The bridesmaids should also dressed in formal gowns of a rich color and carrying lush bouquets of flowers. Your Prince Charming and his groomsmen’s attire should include black or gray tuxedos with tails.

The design and wordings on the invitations should match the Princess Wedding theme.  Engraved invitations on hand-made paper including a colored wax seal featuring your initials to secure the envelope will accentuate the formal wedding theme. Make it a black tie dress code for your guests.  Your wedding programs should be roll up as scrolls tied with a red or purple satin ribbon.

The formal music to play is “Here comes the Bride” as you make your grand entrance walking down the aisle to the wedding ceremony either at a church or walking down the grand staircase at the reception if it is a civil wedding.

A string quartet to play classical chamber music at the reception will be very fitting to a royal party.   The wedding waltz is a must for the Princess and Prince Charming for their first dance as husband and wife.   Finally, the grand exit from the reception you and your Prince Charming will be whisked away by a white horse-drawn-drawn carriage, complete with a tuxedo-clad driver. You and your Prince Charming will live happily after, and all your wedding fantasies have come true.
