Assembled in USA with Chinese products…. this is the closest we will get to bringing any labor/jobs back to USA lol
Absolutely awesome concept. I just think that the shoe designs themselves could use a little re-thinking, and while I do see the functional purpose of the soles, they have definitely got to go. The shoe designs give off a boot vibe which just isn’t going to sell and in my personal opinion, looks horrid. Take a look at some of the most popular brands right now. Vans, Nike, Supra, etc. and try to gather some inspiration from them.
As for the soles, the function is ingenious but the form is definitely lacking, and when it comes to shoes, form is extremely important. I think you could probably keep the hook over system you have now but possibly have a flap of rubber to cover the gap that it creates. Just an idea. You guys are the experts though and I’m just a kid with an outside view and an overly loud opinion haha, Good luck with this though and remember I’m just offering some constructive criticism, not bashing! :)
I am diggin’ the canvas material though.
@payforaday Thanks for the comment! When the shoes are fully assembled, there is no gap between the sole and upper–they look and work just like a regular pair of shoes!
@payforaday Thanks for the comment! Urshuz soles are extremely comfortable and durable, and functional! It’s true, we offer a slightly different look than Vans, Nike and Supra shoes, but Vans, Nike and Supra don’t offer interchangeable shoes!
@nickt916 Thanks for the comment! Our shoes are all made in Mexico–it’s important to us to keep jobs in North America!
Oh I was talking about the many gaps on the side of the actual sole itself. Looks unappealing.
@nickt916 lolololololololol….
lolololol….i have time to get up 10 mins earlier every day and build my own shoe
Cool idea but how good those are when its raining or on winter time?
